Exploring the conscious hallucination of a being who dreams the world through his words.

❝Wholeness is worthiness❞

To offer some initial understanding and help you locate this individuality, you can find here artistic work crafted in different media. You might find philosophy, poetry, and visual arts that mostly deal with ontology and the conditions under which being becomes intelligible, from a perspective of my own, without affiliation but with varied tastes. I often row against the current, but with the wind that carries the human spirit across countless aeons.

With my head in the clouds,
My feet still touch the ground.
For in this world of ironies,
There is no light without darkness,
Nor wisdom without an ideal,
Much less a mystic without imagination
Or a day without conscious hallucination.

Some of the texts published here are works in progress: they are essays and parts of larger manuscripts on which I am working. I make them available as each chapter becomes sufficiently stable for publication.

I’m located in France, and during their conception, most segments of the original texts are written in Portuguese mixed with English and French. It depends on how I wake up in the morning or in the middle of the night and how the ideas come to mind. When published, they are in one language or the other, as this mélange may work for only a few readers.

If you are reading this publication in English, it was translated from Portuguese with the aid of AI and then manually adjusted and reviewed by me. The artworks are created digitally in Procreate and GIMP, or painted directly on canvas with acrylic paint.

On Substack, you can follow the publication or subscribe for free to receive new writing by email and join the conversation. If you’d like, you can also support the work.
